Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession.

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession. The title ‘Physiotherapist’ or ‘Physical Therapist’ is protected by law and regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council.

Physiotherapists restore movement and function following illness, surgery, or injury and are experts in rehabilitation.

At our clinic we pride ourselves on using the most current evidence-based approaches.

Our aim is to explain how injuries and damage occur and to maximise your recovery. Importantly we also offer advice to minimise the risk of a recurrence of the problem wherever possible.

At our clinic you can expect a detailed and thorough assessment to determine the clinical diagnosis of your problem. Together we can then devise an individualised treatment and rehabilitation programme and identify methods to help relieve pain and discomfort.

As part of your recommended treatment plan we will give you an estimated time-frame for your treatment and explain the envisaged outcome. Each session will involve re-assessment or re-evaluation to measure how effective the treatment has been.

It may be that there are imbalances in terms of muscle or joint function and posture. These will be addressed with manual therapy, advice and exercise. We tailor each session to the individual.

We have excellent relations with GPs and consultants and work closely with them if your case requires it. You can book an appointment without a doctor’s referral. Belinda Milligan Physiotherapy Ltd. complies with most medical insurance schemes. Alternatively, you can choose to pay directly yourself. Home visits are possible by arrangement.
